Flute Champagne Lounge is the brainchild of Frenchman Herv Rousseau, who wanted an upscale but comfortable space where guests could have a 'Champagne experience' whether they came for caviar and bubbly or cocktails with friends.
Each of the three Flute lounges was designed with the same sensibilities in mind: elegant but laid back. Guests will always find Flute's signature candle-lit alcoves, dramatic wine cellar displays and plush velvet banquets.

This sophisticated, Art Deco-inspired lounge is located where the notorious speakeasy Club Intime once operated, and Flute Midtown is a New York landmark not to be missed. You will find it "hidden in plain sight" below street level, within walking distance of Midtown's theaters, hotels and offices. Discover this hideaway over pre- or post-theater drinks or for business entertaining. Groups will find extended banquet seating, and couples can cozy into velvet curtained nooks and enjoy drinks by candlelight.
The lounge is decorated in jewel tones, with a unique collection of original oil paintings, a display of luxury Champagne flutes by Lalique, Riedel and St. Louis, and a copper-topped bar polished by the touch of guests over the years. A glass covered compartment in the floor holds a bottle of Krug 1928 in honor of the spot's Prohibition past. MAP
